見るともなく見ている風景に潜在するスケールを、彫刻という物質に還元し、再構築したいと思っている。見えているものを表面とするならば、それを支える構造や骨格。表面を舐めるように行き交う水平方向への視野に加え、垂直に透過し表面を立ち上げる深さのある視点。新たなスケールを備えた彫刻の可能性を探っていく。

I aim to take the inherent sense of scale that we see but do not notice in the surrounding scenery, reduce it to sculptural material, and reconstruct it. If what we see is the surface, what I am exploring is the structure and skeleton that underlies it. To a field of vision that encompasses horizontal lines skating and intersecting over the surface, l introduce a deeper perspective that slices through vertically and raises the surface. I am exploring the possibilities of sculpture with a new sense of scale.
